2015 Fantasy Discussion

Drafts coming up in a couple weeks, and I haven't seen a thread yet.

Was wanting to get some input overrated players/sleepers/strategies etc.

I've been going back and forth on what I want to do with my 2nd rounder. I've done a few mocks, and I really want to take Luck in the 2nd.. but I just can't seem to get as good of a team that route.

Also for the later 1st round who do you take out of CJ Anderson, Jeremy Hill, and Demarco Murray? To me its between Murray and CJ.. Leaning towards Murray. I don't think there will be a huge dropoff for him this year like everyone else seems to think

Not a huge sleeper, but I've been taking Jordan Matthews in just about every mock. I think he is going to have a HUGE year and he will be great value. Even Agholor should be a good late pick. Also Martavis Bryant. I think they finally found the guy to take some pressure off of Antonio Brown. Lastly I like Ameer Abdullah.. he should be a great fit in that offense, and I saw that Bell is going to start the season on the PUP

That's the number one thing I hate about fantasy football. A good majority of the teams don't know how to make a proper trade offer. I'm not out to screw you over....but don't offer me bullshit. I asked a guy what he wanted for Amari Cooper....and he responded with Julio Jones. **** off.

Nine player bench too so you can stockpile guys if you know what you're doing.

"Give me your best player, I'll give you a backup TE, the DEF I streamed last week, and a WR I'm about to drop"

Every week with this type of shit.

Yep, that and the guys who's fantasy team is just completely horrible and they aren't willing to do anything to work on it.

Well I bid $11 on Taylor this week. Someone took him for $25. A bit more expensive than I anticipated.

Took Flacco instead, for free.

Here's the guy who has Charles.

QB: Newton , Mariota
RB: Charles, Hill, Bernard, Vereen
WR: Cooks, Matthews, Benjamin, A. Johnson, Garcon, James Jones
TE: Rudolph, Bennett

I know it's going to take me a damn good offer to get Charles. Any thoughts on what I should offer? Keep in mind, this is a keeper league, so if I offered up a RB like Yeldon....I'd be losing out on value.

My Team:

Philip Rivers

Le'Veon Bell
Justin Dorsett
T.J. Yeldon
Duke Johnson
Matt Jones

Julio Jones
Davante Adams
Mike Wallace
John Brown
Kendall Wright
Brandon Coleman
Stevie Johnson

Tyler Eifert

Broncos Def

Dan Bailey

How many do you get to keep and what are the arrangements for that?

I'ld rather be keeping Charles than Yeldon, personally.

You don't really have much ammunition. If you had another TE behind Eiftert maybe. I think you are going to have to offer Yeldon or Matt Jones, plus another.

You lose the round they were drafted in. If I kept Charles....it would cost me a 1st round pick. If I keep Yeldon...I'd lose a 4th round pick.

Julio for Charles is about the only thing I see that I would pull the trigger on, as a Charles owner... assuming I had enough RB depth.

Maybe try Stevie Johnson and Matt Jones? But Johnson is under-appreciated I think. But putting out some framework for a trade will maybe get the conversation going at least.

In fact, all your WR's are under-appreciated or coming off bad performances. If one of them, like Adams, exploded this weekend, maybe you would have the makings of a deal.

Yeah....I'm just kind of putting feelers out there right now. Like you said...pretty much all of my WRs are coming off of down games. I'll probably end up waiting a week or two....at least until I find out if Adams will be out and for how long.

I gave away Graham for Golden Tate and Kelce for Ladarius Green. Tried to make deals to get a RB which I sorely need but was offered waiver wire fodder at best.

Either Kelce or Sankey and Rudolph. That was the only offer I had to compete with.

I don't think Kelce is going to maintain any value over fringe WA guys whereas I think if Green can stay healthy from this point on, he's a better option than Gates with a better QB than Kelce.
