Time to call your shot - predict the Chiefs' 2015 record for the season

We've seen about as much as we're gonna see of the team before the games count. I always think it's fun to lock in your predictions before the season. Assuming we can find this thread again in a few months, it will inevitably be bumped to either laugh at or cry about.

Here's the schedule:

Sun, Sep 13 @ Texans 11:00 AM
Thu, Sep 17 vs Broncos 6:25 PM
Mon, Sep 28 @ Packers 6:30 PM
Sun, Oct 4 @ Bengals 11:00 AM
Sun, Oct 11 vs Bears 11:00 AM
Sun, Oct 18 @ Vikings 11:00 AM
Sun, Oct 25 vs Steelers 11:00 AM
Sun, Nov 1 vs Lions 7:30 AM
(bye)
Sun, Nov 15 @ Broncos 2:25 PM
Sun, Nov 22 @ Chargers 6:30 PM
Sun, Nov 29 vs Bills 11:00 AM
Sun, Dec 6 @ Raiders 2:05 PM
Sun, Dec 13 vs Chargers 11:00 AM
Sun, Dec 20 @ Ravens 11:00 AM
Sun, Dec 27 vs Browns 11:00 AM
Sun, Jan 3 vs Raiders 11:00 AM

(Yeah, I'm in a thread-starting mood. Bite me.)

I'm thinking 9-7 or 10-6 with this tough schedule, 4th most difficult in the NFL.

I'll try to be more optimistic and say 10-6.

without looking at the schedule I was gonna say 11-5 or 10-6

Just looked at the schedule though and I forgot about that beginning. Yuck
If we could go 2-2 out of that stretch I'd feel really good. We could easily be 1-3 or 0-4 though.

I went through every game and came up with 8-8 overall. hmph :\

Nonsense. Any and all SB victories can be squarely attributed to my adopted, fatty bastard-child Morse.

It's amazing to see how a good preseason game 3 can lift the spirits of the downtrodden.

This place is going to be fun if KC somehow manages to lose to the Texans.

I think I'm probably a bit optimistic, but I went ahead and voted for 12-4. I could see anywhere between 10-6 and 14-2. Barring any major injuries, of course.

Also, I'm still not sure how that offensive line is gonna hold up. We still seem to be injury prone in that unit. Still, call me a homer but I see a good year for the Chiefs.

I was watching NFL Network last night and they were going through the league highlights of every game this past weekend, they only showed the Mariotta pass that was the one highlight for him all night. Screw you, NFLN for not showing the Chiefs highlights, of which there were several.

How'd santos do last year at San Diego to win the game?

10-6 is my guess.

Losses @Green Bay, @ Cinci, one Denver game, Pitt, Bills, one Raiders game.

Good enough for a wildcard, but Denver prolly still wins the division.

13-3

Because chiefs.

But no, don't really know. Don't have a feel for it enough to make a prediction. I think they'll be good, but with a tough schedule and a little bit of typical chiefs magic, it could go either way

The schedule is too tough IMO, including the fact there are only 7 Home games. So I feel the same way as I did last year where there are certain "Must Win" games you have to mark already.

Sun, Sep 13 @ Texans 11:00 AM - Will be Tough but without Foster and an average QB have to be looking to take this one.

Thu, Sep 17 vs Broncos 6:25 PM - Have to beat Manning at some stage, no excuses

Sun, Oct 11 vs Bears 11:00 AM - I think the pass rush can hit Cutler hard enough and often enough that he folds early

Sun, Oct 18 @ Vikings 11:00 AM
Sun, Nov 1 vs Lions 7:30 AM
Sun, Nov 29 vs Bills 11:00 AM
Sun, Dec 6 @ Raiders 2:05 PM
Sun, Dec 13 vs Chargers 11:00 AM
Sun, Dec 27 vs Browns 11:00 AM
Sun, Jan 3 vs Raiders 11:00 AM

Need to go 8-2 in this group of games

These games I expect to lose

Mon, Sep 28 @ Packers 6:30 PM
Sun, Oct 4 @ Bengals 11:00 AM
Sun, Oct 25 vs Steelers 11:00 AM
Sun, Nov 15 @ Broncos 2:25 PM
Sun, Nov 22 @ Chargers 6:30 PM
Sun, Dec 20 @ Ravens 11:00 AM

However if some they go 2-4 or even 3-3 in this group I would be happy.

I can see 6-10 or 10-6

9-7 is where I'll take my stand, bu anything from 8-8 to 11-5 wouldn't completely shock me.
