Well, if you were going to get rid of Bert, now would be the time. Apparently, the draft is just a crap-shoot/coin-flip anyway and Bert is due to regress to the mean (of 50% success?!?) after several strong drafts.

Loved having him as the GM, but the numbers, apparently, suggest it's time to move on.

How exactly do these negotiations work? Does Clark deal directly with Reid and Veach's reps, or is it lawyers/agents only and they only meet when the deal is done?

Pretty sure Mike Florio is the mediator. Both sides must negotiate through him. And he makes the ultimate decision on what a fair salary is.
