Has this turd circled the bowl yet? Can we flush it?

Or do we have to scoop it into a paper cup and let it sit out another year?

Remember when we picked Ryan Sims?

Despite the fact he was an average DT at best, he held on to a starting job for FOUR YEARS.

Eric Fisher is no Ryan Sims.

I'm giving John a flat C grade on the year... on defense, Ford is looking more and more like a goody and so is Gaines, for a rookie that guy was a. ok.

Whats dragging Dorsey down is offense, of course... no receivers and no linemen worth a squat, if this grade wasnt so bad he'd get a flat B from me. But nope, best receiver class in decades plus huge holes in the line unfilled equals BAD.

So, he gets a flat C... surely we can do better than that next year... I'm COUNTING on it.

Btw-we need another safety bad. Commings is the Moeaki of this secondary, Coleman is a JAG, Parker unsigned and Abdullah is entering his last year next season.
I think Abdullah and Parker can easily be extended at a reasonable price. I'm not too worried about them. And we'll be fine there as long as Dorsey keeps hitting on the value picks. On defense, Dorsey has done a pretty incredible job and without spending much money.

Then I guess we can surmise who's calling the shots on offensive picks then, can't we?

Please God fire that fat ****.

Our defense went from abortion bad to actually pretty good . That wasn't by accident. Excellent personnel moves.

Take this year's offense. Assume Avery stays healthy all year, Allen and Stephenson don't regress or go missing, throw in McGrath as a third te option. Assume demetrius Harris plays all year as a 3rd te option.

By year end, the receiver options were more than good enough for Smith.

Fisher should not have any surgeries that need to be rehabbed this offseason. A whole offseason of conditioning properly, and actual work in OTA's and training camp could do wonders. If not, time to move in a different direction.

What's dragging the offense down more than anything is Smith and Reid.

Let me ask you this... Assume Dorsey kept the defense the same as last year, which is terrible. Assume Dorsey stocked up great OL and wr. Does anyone think this team would be any good? They wouldn't be even close to 500 with that approach.

It's why I don't get the obsession with OL and wr. As if Smith would actually use those to his advantage.

If he's not a reliable LT that shows massive improvement next year, you cut him.
No fill in, you move him positions.. Guard or RT.. Then if he still sucks you just release him when contract is up..
