While this deal sucks for the Jets on the surface, you have to consider that if they had just sat on their hands, they would have been leaped probably by Buffalo or Miami.

At least now they ensure that they will get someone, and that franchise and fan base is almost as hungry for a young star QB as we were last year.

It’s a huge risk, still. They must have at least three guys that they like a lot at QB.
