Damn, I didn't realize how much of a resource hog these streaming videos are. I watch other streams like netflix and vudu and my laptop has no problem with them. I watch these NFL Network feeds and my laptop shoots to 100% in 15 minutes.

I've been streaming it nearly non-stop since yesterday afternoon, hardly a resource burden at all. The resource creep of too many tabs with too many youtube vids is much worse.

Even with another 20 tabs open, I'm only at 28-30% of CPU. Ram usage creeps up the longer tabs are left open, but otherwise easy-peasy.

I watch netflix it never exceeds 50%. I do that stream and it shoots to 100% very quickly with only one tab open.

Not a biggie anyway as I don't plan on using it on my laptop anyway.

I'm down to 2 tabs besides the NFL Channel [in a pop-up], have been for 3+ hours, and I'm at 10% of CPU and 50% of RAM [I'm a lowly 4GBer, down to 2GB free after system and background files loaded].
