so what is it then? You log-in and you sit there and wait for 16 other people to join your game. Then you see that there are 5 guys named FULLBLOODKILLER or something stupid like that, then you get 1-shot every 5th step.

It's just a multilplayer FPS game. There is nothing massive about 16 people playing together. Thousands of people on one server = massive.
