2nd rnd. Geno, Wilson, Barkley, Glennon gone...

Given Dorseys comments the other day about not being a clear cut QB at #1....lets assume we do not draft a QB in the 1st and say Geno, Wilson, Glennon, and Barkley are gone by the 2nd rnd.

Who do you think we go after [qb] and in what rnd?

May not be a bad strategy. Although for a developmental prospect I'm a bit more intrigued by Peter Lalich or Sean Renfree in a later round, leaning a bit toward Lalich between the two.

"Quarterback Sean Renfree, Duke. No one's talking about him, but he completed 70 percent of his throws in six of 12 games for David Cutcliffe last fall, was a comeback specialist, and has the pedigree in a good pro-style offense to play early." - Peter King

Here's an interesting right up on Lalich:

Here's another intriguing article about Lalich:

http://www.knowitallfootball.com/201...forgotten-one/

"Peter Lalich is the best passer in college football. No one throws a prettier, more accurate ball with more zip. No One.

Don’t bother scrolling through the names of the quarterbacks who participated in this year’s NFL Combine. The 6’6, 245 pound senior is not on it. He wasn’t invited....."

Peter Lalichs are always around.

Dane Simoneau, anyone?

Rarely do they even amount to TJ Yates.

Basically, Geno or get ****ed. Take your Lalichs and Refrees and shove them up your ass.

(Not directed at you, Frankie. I meant everyone.)

Why not at Frankie?

He's probably never seen either guy he's talking about throw a pass.

But they intrigue because someone wrote an article or mentioned them.

I like Dysert. A lot, actually.

I would take Nassib with that 3rd round pick.

Everybody else... meh. I'm not going to stop Reid/Dorsey if they want to burn a midrounder on a Renfree or Lalich. I'm okay with buying a lottery ticket on a QB once in awhile.

But that's all these ever are. Lottery tickets.

This draft at QB is all about fit. THere isn't a guy that will succeed in any particular system.

I don't like Manuel, at all. Take away the athleticism, can he sit in the pocket and make plays? Not at this point. Have to have a pretty big overhaul.

I like Bray alot, but he has some off field issues. I think he'd probably have a chance to be the first guy taken next year if he played to his "potential".

Bray and Manuel. The two dumbest QBs in the draft. Would be a good fit with the Chiefs.

I also know some hate Bray, but if he's pretty much Cutler at this point.
