***Official real life bets for the 2016 NFL season***

I know there's a thread for football betting with fake cash. But let's talk about those placing bets with friends, season/weekly bets with trips to Vegas, or online account betting. List your bet here in this thread so we can discuss good/bad bets and who's taking home the cash. I think it would be an interesting thread to watch all season long.

Bets should be for money or goods only. Nothing like, "If the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, my wife blows me." Nothing like, "If the Chiefs don't make the playoff, my friends are making me getting a really shitty chest tattoo (Hometeam)."

So lay it out and post your bets!

$50 says the Chiefs manage to lose a game in a way that hasn't been seen since 1935.

Weirdly enough, I don't usually bet futures. I want to win or lose that day. But I do think that's a solid bet.

In week 1 LA Rams are (-2) @ San Francisco. I'd take on that one if I could for another 2 or 3 hundred. I'd be willing to bet LA murders them to make a statement. That will be up to -5 me thinks by game time.

I'm away from my desk so I can't check my slips, but I know I got KC Chiefs 20:1 back in March. I think I threw $50 at them.

49ers are aweful but I'm weary of road teams inter division on week 1. A lot needs to happen for a line to move 3 pts especially for week 1.

Not going to correct it, just going to point out how amazing it is that I misspelled the word awful in my above post.

You still have a chance to keep your house!

Lol. I did shitty on parlays like everyone who bets them regularly but I did finish the regular season 16 individual games over .500 so I have $160 to bet on in the playoffs.

Lew-you did well. I told people a year ago that when Vikes kicked the ball wide left, they would not make the playoffs in 2016. No one would take the bet.
