2015 Fantasy Discussion

Drafts coming up in a couple weeks, and I haven't seen a thread yet.

Was wanting to get some input overrated players/sleepers/strategies etc.

I've been going back and forth on what I want to do with my 2nd rounder. I've done a few mocks, and I really want to take Luck in the 2nd.. but I just can't seem to get as good of a team that route.

Also for the later 1st round who do you take out of CJ Anderson, Jeremy Hill, and Demarco Murray? To me its between Murray and CJ.. Leaning towards Murray. I don't think there will be a huge dropoff for him this year like everyone else seems to think

Not a huge sleeper, but I've been taking Jordan Matthews in just about every mock. I think he is going to have a HUGE year and he will be great value. Even Agholor should be a good late pick. Also Martavis Bryant. I think they finally found the guy to take some pressure off of Antonio Brown. Lastly I like Ameer Abdullah.. he should be a great fit in that offense, and I saw that Bell is going to start the season on the PUP

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Dude in my league is offering me Andrew f'ing Luck. I'm actually thinking of doing this deal, what do you guys think?

Andrew Luck
Victor Cruz (filler)

I give-
Sam Bradford
Alshon Jeffery
Emmanuel Sanders

Sanders fell to the 5th round which is why I grabbed him. I'm not very high on him this year so basically it's my 2nd round pick (Jeffery), 9th round QB and Sanders for probably the best QB in the fantasy game and a flyer on a broke down Cruz.

Should I pull this trigger?

Absolutely, yes. He is buying the Sam Bradford hype TOO much.

What do you WR's look like, out of curiosity. If that was his first offer, maybe you can work down your WR depth chart a bit and keep Jeffery or Sanders?

Okay I've worked him into plugging in Sammy Watkins in as well

Andrew Luck
Sammy Watkins
Victor Cruz

for

Sam Bradford
Alshon Jeffery
Emmanuel Sanders
Dorial Green-Beckham

Remaining WR I have are

Steve Smith
Eddie Royal
Percy Harvin
Brandon Coleman
Dorial green-beckham

I'm still having a hard time pulling the trigger on this deal. I do live Bradford a lot and his schedule sets up nicely the first 6 weeeks or so. (atlanta, dallas, ny giants, NO etc)

I have Adrian Peterson so the thought of having Luck paired with AP is nice but my top 3 WR will be Sammy, Steve Smith and then Royal/Percy/Cruz/Coleman.

Tough decision...or is it?

Any chance at:

Andrew Luck
Sammy Watkins

for

Sam Bradford
Emmanuel Sanders
Dorial Green-Beckham

If you can get that.. pull the trigger immediately. Tell him he has a deal. You can mention on the side that Jeffery is injured and might miss some early games anyway. There is a chance he doesn't play this week. Of course, you are in a good position with Royal on your squad also.

I will take another look at the current trade when I am back home in front of my projections.

Had my 2nd and final league draft last night. 1st spot in a 10 team

Luck, Bradford
Leveon, Demarco, Randle, Blount, Abdullah, Coleman
Cooks, Adams, Tate, Wallace
Ertz
Prater
Lions D

Kelce and Olsen both went in round 4. Earlier than I was willing to go, so I'm kind of ****ed at TE. But I should have plenty of trade ammo with my RB's. I hate 10 team leagues btw. I think 12 is perfect

Ivory and then a bunch of just guys on his bench.

I think he jumped the gun on Ivory a little too early, his projections are low and he's panicking.

Sounds like he is playing. He wasn't on the injury report submitted by the Patriots.

I was hesitant to believe the Abdullah hype, but seeing how we was used I think I would take that Abdullah / Jeffry side now.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on it last evening about 5:00.....It may well come back to bite me in the ass but I couldn't get past the idea of having JC and Lacy.
