QB, CB, DE (who can rush the passer from 3-tech in subs and 4/5-tech from base fronts), WR, S, ILB who can play in subs(cover).

I'm pretty disheartened with all of our DEs ability to provide a pass rush.

Bailey might improve and I hope he does. Other than that, for us to 1-gap sucessfully, you have to have at least 1 DE who can get upfield. That could be Poe if the new regime decides to move him to DE and slide Powe at NT.

Our lame ass scheme didn't ask them to.

The scheme we ran the last two years made all our DL fullbacks for the LB's. That's as simple as I can explain it. It was stupid and counter productive IMO.

This is why the TJ pick is even more stupid. Pioli acted like he was trying to land a Justin Smith (SF DE) but that was never going to be his responsibility...

Bill Walsh will agree with you 100% especially in the 4th quarter and the fact you have Rivers, Manning and Palmer(when he gets the O-line support) in your division.

Bet we go pass rush with the first pick. What 1st rd player fits our scheme the best ??

The 2-gap didn't help but there is a reason Dorsey and Jackson never provided pressure on 3rd and long downs, they couldn't rush the passer if their life depended of it.

We played 1-gap concepts in our sub packages in which Dorsey and Jackson were playing the 3 tech and couldn't get a consistent pass rush.
