I haven't had a chance to watch much of this preseason, so I hadn't heard of this guy until Succop got cut today. As far as I can tell, he has two things going for him:

1. He has a pretty cool name.
2. He's not Ryan Succop.

Also he can do this:

I'm actually pretty excited to have a new kicker on the team. Succop had been around for what felt like forever, and was never anything more than mediocre the entire time.

Anybody else hyped to see this dude boot it?!?!?!?!

Last year Succup was a 78.6% kicker… which was 28th out of 32 kickers.

What was Succups accuracy from 40-50 yards? That really seemed where he struggled at times. Unacceptable in today's NFL.

Peter King has written before how most of today's kickers are extremely accurate.

The only thing I'm worried about is this kids ability to kick off. From what I saw in the preseason he was always short.
