Finally saw it yesterday. Loved it, but as other have said the IM/Hulk battle and the final battle were really made the movie. Just awesome kick-assery fun!

Also loved them delving into the human side of Hawkeye and Widow.

I may have made a mistake in reading to many reviews comments about "feminism" before the movie, which made me focus too much on Widow (although focusing on Johansson isn't really a bad thing). After seeing the movie, that's all bullshit. She's "weak" for the same reason Hawk is. They're normal people. I liked that they brought that to the fore. I also like the makeup of the new team.

Marvel said it was the majority of the cave scenes or the family scenes with Hawkeye. Joss went with the Hawkeye material (thought it was the only "breather" in the movie). He said he looked forward to be able to release an extended cut ASAP.

What I read is that test audiences found it to be confusing and didn't have enough CGI. So they created that even more confusing bit introducing all the gems.

If it is the video series I am thinking of, then yeah, it is bullshit. There certainly are tropes in media that need to be gone, but the arguments they make in those videos are nonsensical. I did find it ironic Whedon praised the series, only to have them bite him in the ass and criticize his movie.

This was a good movie. One of the better marvel villains.
