Girlbac was never a clutch guy but he put up a 5k season and damned near broke the single game record for passing yards.

And he did that with almost no offensive line and definitely no running game. He and his coaches knew he could be great.

It wasn't his talent - it was the pressure of expectations that folded him up. He had to make 3 second decisions and couldn't.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

You dumbass.

No one is, has, or will say Cassel is as good as Manning or Rivers. I wish you weren't so trolly, because you know a lot, and make cool gifs and videos.

Alas, you're stuck in some limbo world of Pioli sucks, must not give an inch, Cassel sucks, must not waver or give one compliment...ever, or I'll will lose my membership in the Whitlock boy rangers fan club.

My favorite was, Cassel won't throw one pass longer than 15 yards this season, and he's already done that in the first preseason game.

I said PREseason. And COMPLETE a pass longer than 15 yards in the air.

Kudos to him for breaking a trend.

No. Wrong.

The idiot who posted that comment is bragging about Cassel having better preseason stats than elite QB. He's seriously swaggering over it.

Same kind of fans who think DMC is gonna have 1,000 total yards.
