Tony Romo rumor

Gotta ask what do you guys think? There are strong rumors we are interested. I would love it if we got AJ MCCaron from Bengals.

What do you guys think

For a qb that's going to be holding a clipboard by game 6 and quite possibly the rest of his career, that's a lot of money! Not to mention, he's 36!

Simply because he won so many Superbowls in Dallas? I recall a few 8-8 seasons even with WRs like Dez Bryant, none of which do we have here. If you like losing to the Raiders and Denver then add Romo to the team and have him start a new report with our less talented WRs. Kelce would be the only upgrade and possibly Charles next year.

Tony Romo has only played in 5 games since December of 2014. Romo is a better QB than Alex Smith, but can you trust the guy to make through even half of a season? I'd be willing to trade for the guy, but there wouldn't be a 1st round pick involved. There wouldn't be multiple picks involved. The guy is far too much of an injury risk. Romo for a 3rd rounder like the Jets gave up for Favre? Sure. Anything more than that and I'm saving my ammunition to move up for a QB in the draft if the opportunity presents itself. If I'm trading a 1st for a player then I'd much rather trade it for Garoppolo, and I'm not even keen on that idea.

What kind of report is he writing? Is it on how to build rapport with receivers?

The Cowboys will listen to offers for Tony Romo, sources said, once owner Jerry Jones has his meeting with the Pro Bowl quarterback. Romo prefers to be moved to a contending team -- specifically, the Texans, Cardinals, Broncos or Chiefs.

No way the Texans can take on Romo's contract with Osweiler there. I'd consider them out. The Cardinals are interesting....if Palmer retires. He could be a damn good fit there. The Broncos are obvious.

Behind that line Romo would be lucky to make it out of Training Camp.

They would have to spend some money in FA and also add some pieces through the draft. That's for sure. Arizona makes the most sense if Palmer retires. I'd put us at 2nd.

I'd put us at Zero because there's no way Reid would be on board with bringing him in.

Peter King said today that he could see the Chiefs moving Smith to the NY Jets but that he couldn't see Romo as a Chief due to his inability to stay healthy.

Todd Bowles worked for Reid so it does make some sense.
