It can't be said enough - some of the dialogue in AotC was so bad it made me uncomfortable. Just so, so horrible.

Seems like an appropriate time to share this...

I disagree. Even with such a bad script, someone like DiCaprio would have made it far more believable. Hell, even Josh Jackson would have been better because both he and Leo have the gravitas that Christensen lacked.

Dude, even Leo couldn't have saved that scene where Anakin and Padme were rolling around in the high grass on Naboo. That was literally some of the worst, most uncomfortable film in ALL of the series. The lines sucked, the scene sucked, and the actors had ZERO chemistry. Maybe Natalie would have been more warmed up rolling around with Leo, but Clark ****ing Gable couldn't have saved that scene, lol.

Yeah, that may be the most cringeworthy scene of all time, even more embarrassing than watching an Rated R simulated sex scene in a movie with your parents in the room.

I remember watching the first Conan movie on a VCR with my dad when I was like 16 years old or so. There's a scene where Conan hooks up with Sandahl Bergman's character. He just lifts up his loincloth and starts doing her doggie, IIRC.

My dad turns to me and says "I guess Conan's not into foreplay".

LOST was a trainwreck with no ending. It's was supposed to be "purgatory" but when the public figured it out within a few weeks, Abrams, Lindelof and Cuse all said, "No. You'll see", which was a complete lie. He lied about Star Trek: Into Darkness as well, which was just flat out awful.

I also find it very telling that LucasFilm initially stated that Abrams would direct 7-9 but shortly after filming began, that was changed, too. Rian Johnson is writing and directing VIII and Colin Treverrow is doing IX.

The bottom line is that while we all hope it's a great film, there is absolutely no guarantee. Knowing Abrams, the film will be great until the final minutes, when Luke's reveal skews everything.
Even though MI 2 had a great director in his own right, I would say that is the "worst" of that series.. which is a great spy series.

No doubt in LOST they lost *heh* their way.. the first three seasons though was just great suspense and acting for a three letter station

You think LucasFilm wasn't satisfied with the product by JJ based off that report? just curious

I was puzzled watching Ron Pealman do Rae Dawn Chong in the butt in 'Quest for Fire' when I was like 12

The TV spots are awesome. My body is ready.

Also, been reading Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader. It's incredible. Bail Organa freaking out when Vader lands on Alderaan and hiding Leia and the droids is great stuff. So is Vader executing a clone trooper for letting a Jedi escape.
