I used to post here quite regularly. I'm just not on a computer like I used to be which makes it hard to post. I've even met a few of you back in 2004 or so at a bar in KC and tailgating at a game. I hung out with Brian (endelt) a few times when I lived in AZ.

I now live in Portland, OR and since moving here my life has changed quite a bit. I've done more than my fair share to help "Keep Portland Weird"

I've debated doing this for about a year now. On one hand it's really none of your business but on the other hand I feel like I need to say something.

Hello, ChiefsPlanet, I'm Meghan and I'm a trans-woman.

I'll be in KC in December and I'll be attending the Chiefs/Raiders game with my cousin and his friends.

I finally read through the thread. And I laughed a lot and I am very appreciative of the kind words I've read as well.

Posting this really affected me much more than I realized. I had to take a couple of days to come back and see the rest of the thread.

Honestly I'm pretty laid back when it comes to my being trans. I know I may have come off as defensive and maybe even a bit uptight. That's not me.

For me the word Tranny is like the N word. In that I can use it to refer to myself or other trans folks. But I get a bit bristly if someone that isn't trans uses it. Again this depends on context and if I know you. I don't get too hung up either if people used male pronouns (by mistake) to refer to me. I'd only get upset if they just flat out refused to use proper pronouns even after I corrected them.

Oh another reason I took so long to come back was due to that shitfest that was the Thursday night game.
