I suppose someone could always ask Hunt if it had any impact on his decision. That would be really neat to ascertain.

If I were Hunt, I'd either not answer, or outright lie and say it didn't.

We can't possibly know. But what we do know is, it's impossible for their message to NOT be heard.

Therefore, we'd have to assume that it did in fact play some sort of role in this.

Organized fan revolts aren't exactly common, especially at the magnitude that Chiefs fans were able to do it.

That's not something that gets ignored. It's certainly something an owner of a Franchise takes notice to.
