Drafts coming up in a couple weeks, and I haven't seen a thread yet.

Was wanting to get some input overrated players/sleepers/strategies etc.

I've been going back and forth on what I want to do with my 2nd rounder. I've done a few mocks, and I really want to take Luck in the 2nd.. but I just can't seem to get as good of a team that route.

Also for the later 1st round who do you take out of CJ Anderson, Jeremy Hill, and Demarco Murray? To me its between Murray and CJ.. Leaning towards Murray. I don't think there will be a huge dropoff for him this year like everyone else seems to think

Not a huge sleeper, but I've been taking Jordan Matthews in just about every mock. I think he is going to have a HUGE year and he will be great value. Even Agholor should be a good late pick. Also Martavis Bryant. I think they finally found the guy to take some pressure off of Antonio Brown. Lastly I like Ameer Abdullah.. he should be a great fit in that offense, and I saw that Bell is going to start the season on the PUP

I think both Olsen and Funchess have good years. Funchess is a poor man's Benjamin, will prob be used to fill in his shoes.

The first 2 rounds of my draft went as expected, later on not so much:

QB: Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford

My main league drafted this past weekend in San Antonio (heading back to Vegas again next year).....
Came out OK, but not overwhelmingly good:
1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1RB/WR/TE, K, D
.5 PPR and 6 per passing TD, otherwise standard scoring

QB: Roethlisberger (5), Rivers (7)
RB: Charles (1), Gordon (2), Abdullah (4), K. Davis (8), Duke Johnson, (11), Chris Johnson (14)
WR: Jeffery (3), Landry (6) S. Smith (10), Boldin (13)
TE: Fleener (12), Gates (15)
K: Parkey (16)
D/ST: Chiefs (9)

Why QBs in the 5th and 7th?

IF I recollect correctly I wasn't seeing much other value on the board and wanted to force the couple of guys that hadn't gotten one yet to pick one. I will admit that I was more than a touch hammered. In retrospect, TE may have been a tad more important than a backup QB.

I can see that. I wouldn't have gone handcuff in the 8th either. Over the years I've gone away from drafting handcuffs because it usually causes me to miss out on other talent. Plus our roster size is smaller.....and you can't afford to be holding onto players just because an injury might occur.

I'd look for someone who is lacking in the QB department and try and flip Rivers.

no PPR, Peterson or Charles.
I would probably end up with Charles just because he's a Chief

Personally in a 12 man I'll take the 12 spot,had this many years ago and went wr/wr with Moss/Holt and tore the league up winning it all.

I landed the number 12 in a my ppr league. You think Dez and Julio? Or what about C.J Anderson and Dez instead?

I'm a big fan of Julio and if it were me I'd probably go Dez.I've been reading where donks are looking at Hillman as rb 1b.Just my 2 cents but if Calvin would happen to be there I'd go Julio/Calvin.

I like the idea of going WR/WR but what would I be looking at for RBs when I pick again in the late 3rd early 4th?
