I think we can expect Andy to start the season with a great game plan on offense that will confuse defenses just like they did last year. What we did to NE was incredible.

What I worry about is this- will Andy be able to adapt and keep it cutting edge week after week with all of these weapons? He failed at that last year and once teams watched the film, they were able to shut us down for large chunks of the game causing us to lose to inferior teams that were better prepared.

His inability to adapt killed us in the Titan game as well. The Titans made adjustments and we didn't. Unacceptable.

When you have legit talent that doesn’t always have to be schemes to get open, it’s alot easier

Now add that talent to Andy’s ability to wizard guys open and it should be nice if all things work right

That is exactly why many of us think Mahomes can be that guy to take this franchise to the next level.

Almost every good team, aka teams in the playoffs, will figure out your plan at some point in the game...usually around the late 2nd quarter to 3rd quarter.
Technology has really honed in on coaching advancements in this league.

The problem with Alex is that if your game plan goes to shit or a key cog to the machine like Travis Kelce gets their dome blasted, he falls apart.
Mahomes excels with these situations. His “plan” is to improvise, so basically no real plan.

Watch Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers. Those guys excel when shit breaks down and a play needs to happen. That’s what we are getting in Mahomes.

Great Quarterbacking overcomes defensive schemes. they can't cover two speed receivers and Kelce without letting Hunt run up the gut. Is it September yet?

The route concepts were sound. Dudes were open. Alex wouldn’t push the ball downfield. What worked early is Andy told Alex what would be there. When teams took the first option away he had trouble moving through the rotation on those scripted plays. On the regular plays he was the same old Alex he ever was. That’s why we blew ass in the second halves.

Mahomes may be the opposite. He may try to push and not take what’s easy.

I think a lot of the misdirection shit will go away for awhile. Which isn’t bad if Mahomes will hit what’s there.

Your bigger concern needs to be whether Mahomes adjusts when there is tape on him.

Listening now. He completely shut down all speculation (mostly by idiots) that Veach is a yes man and Andy is the secret GM. Andy watches who Veach brings to him and gives Veach his evaluation. “Veach says jump I say how high”.

It still doesn't change the fact that Andy Reid can't or won't adapt. He also coaches a team that lacks discipline and aggression.

Sutton is much the same.

Yep, everything isn't going to need to be perfect for more than a dump off to heppen with Pat. If it does pan out that way I place the blame squarely on Andy's shoulders.

We've all seen how Pat played in college and the donx game.

I'm also expecting some interceptions to happen as well but that comes with territory.

And dammit, I can't wait to see my homeboy sling the rock!

Lol I guess you’re one of those idiots then

I think it’s pretty obvious that is exactly the case based on everything we’ve heard about Veach and Reid’s relationship going back to Philly. Why the **** would Reid be lying for years about Veach bringing guys like Mahomes, Cox, DJax, and McCoy to his attention? And if that’s the case, why didn’t he do the same with a guy like Hunt that he took some credit for?

As somebody that actually loves a good conspiracy, this is the equivalent of the Flat Earth theory.
