Old enough to have watched the golden era. The competition from those days will never be surpassed. Guys like Clyde Drexler and Mitch Richmond...pretty remarkable that MJ got the better of them.

True but it's not because Love is overrated, he just isn't a good fit. Love and Irving's defense combined is a huge liability, but that's all on LeGM. This is his handpicked team once again.

True and the Cavs might even win a home game, but it's pretty obvious that the Warriors are a far superior basketball team. They almost have 4 US Olympic starters in their own starting lineup (Durant, Curry, and Green all should definitely be there with Klay the only question mark). It's absurd. LeBron could put up 40 point triple doubles all series and it wouldn't be enough to top them (because there's no way they can stop both Durant and Curry).

The question is, how will that be perceived? In the short term at least, I do still think they'll be looked at as the 73 win team that needed to add one of the best scorers ever in order to best LeBron.

You're not giving Draymond enough respect. He's a DPOY candidate and one of the better passers in the league. #4 on that list. Then after a bit of a gulf some combination of Kyrie, Klay, and Love. The other three after that are scrubs.

I agree with what you are saying mostly but I will never ever count Lebron out of anything. There is alot of games left yet to be played.

I don't know about that. zilla made a great argument last season that keeping Wiggins would allow the Cavs to spend money to get a better defender(s) than Love

I LOVED Clyde Drexler, but I think you're likely overrating him a bit. I watched a Chicago/Portland game on one of the ESPN channels the other day, and Drexler really didn't do a ton (other than miss a bunch of shots). He was a great player, but he wasn't anywhere near Jordan.
