Manning should have never been allowed to play a down. Illegal performance enhancements aren't supposed to be allowed. He also brought in those free agents and the proof is in how bad their off-season are after he retired.

5head brought in those guys. Sanders, Talib, Ware, and Ward weren't signing otherwise. End of discussion.

It was Elway who signed Manning to begin with. Your mustard & ketchup clown show tried speed dialing Manning but he changed his number, lol

Manning went to Denver because he knew they had better drugs. And he got to be worshipped by Elway. Nothing strokes the ego of a top quarterback like getting slobbered over by another historic quarterback

Can't say I blame him

Don't forget about the history of cheating. Dungver was one of the few teams that would help him hide his HGU use and cheat as much as it took to finish his career with as many rings as his little brother.

And in all reality Peyton only fell to the Broncos because San Francisco couldn't justify paying Peyton 20 mil a year after Smith got an extension and they spent a 2nd round pick on Kaepernick . But Harbaugh wanted him really bad.

The cheap, thin air was the only reason. That gimmick no huddle made it impossible for opposing defenses in that bullshit environment. Total ****ing sham it took look involvement to fix him a title on the way out.. added to overlooking using illegal substances

The thin air has historically been a huge advantage for Denver. They can ride that home field advantage right into a home playoff advantage every year. Their fans can't deny it. Their historically bad blowouts in multiple Super Bowls exposes this unfair advantage for what it is.

Can teams overcome it? Sure. But it is not easy to do on a consistent basis. I could never be a fan of the Broncos because deep down I would know that this unfair advantage exists and it would taint the team's success for me.

Between the thin air, the chronic cheating, and the constant reach a rounds from the NFL, being a broncos fan has to be somewhat unsatisfying even with the championships.

Thin air and chronic cheating (which is mostly sour grapes. I'd cheat to win a SB in a heartbeat. You can't erase a memory. If the argument is memories vs. draft picks Denver wins that argument) are true.

The rest?...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Meh. The thin air is definitely a factor for the Broncos. Probably the single greatest advantage in the league.

It's hardly unreasonable to think that such a home field advantage contributes to their AFC playoff runs, especially when they have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. It's also not unreasonable to think that their blowout losses in multiple Super Bowls exposed inferior teams that rode that advantage to the big game.

As for the cheating? Even Bronco fans know that salary cap violations contributed to the construction of their Super Bowl teams of 97 and 98. And we don't even need to go into their history of petty cheating from Crisco to dirty blocking, etc.

League darlings? A lot of people might not think so but I do.

My assessment might not be popular but full of stupid? Nah. There's enough evidence, factual and circumstantial, to support an opinion such as mine. And it's only my opinion. But it's also why I'm glad I didn't choose to be a Broncos fan when I was a kid.

The stupid is thinking any Bronco fans give a rat's ass, and that you would be any different were you one yourself.
