What team do you want Alex to go to, and what do you want in return?

We've seen that Veach can fleece teams for acquiring talent (Ragland/Bills), but we haven't seen what he can do offloading talent. He'll have his first big opportunity with Alex this offseason.

Potential Trade Partners:
  • Browns (AFC)
  • Bills (AFC)
  • Cardinals (NFC
  • Bengals (AFC - longshot)
  • Broncos (AFC - Inter-division unlikely)
  • Jags (AFC - Bortles is holding his own lately)
  • Jets (AFC)
  • Redskins (NFC - If Cousins leaves)

What do they have to offer, and what do you think he can net us?

Pathetic.
You're full of shit, as usual

5 straight winning seasons is not mediocrity, nor is first ever consecutive division titles

Yes, I am 100% ready for this franchise to turn the page... but that doesnt mean I find it necessary to take fat dump all over a guy who helped scrape this team up off the bottom of the barrel

You need to alter your definition of mediocrity.

Winning in the regular season and accomplishing nothing in the postseason is mediocrity.

But Chiefs fans have always been happy with it.

I, for one, will not be party to glorifying it any longer.

I know the front office is not the same, but the Browns offered a 2nd and a 3rd for AJ McCarron. You have to bend them over the table again IMO if you want to send him to the Browns. Not settle for 1 second rounder.

Guy has been a great leader. The issue I have with him is that part of the problem is mental. If it was just physical it would be easy to just say "well he is what he is, it's on KC to do better".

Alex can do better and he has proved it. He also has shown an inconsistency in doing it in big games, which is a problem when you have to play well for 3 or 4 in a row.

I know you are ready to move on. I am just saying when I get frustrated at Alex himself it's when he mentally beats himself. For a very intelligent man, he gets in his own way a lot and it's sadly the biggest issue that's kept him from being up a rung on the QB ladder.

Cant argue with that, his default instincts for playing it safe have held him back

But in the pantheon of Chiefs QBs, there is really just Dawson, Green, and Smith... God Bless Joe Money, but he was more like a short-term rental

We aren't rooting. We're just smart enough not to lie to ourselves that it isn't going to happen.

Not true for everyone. Some people want us to lose every game until Alex Smith is gone.

Apparently Alex is likely to become a Bronco, Jaguar, or Viking next season. I like Tyrod as our backup if we can get him, McCown sounds more likely however.

Ill never understand why TrINT Green is so revered while Alex Smith gets dumped on?

He did his job.

Agreed. Alex is better than one hit wonder Trint.

Also, why would Alex want to go play for the Browns at this point? That's not going to happen guys.

Plus, if you think about it, if this is about money, why would anyone trade for him? Why not wait until we release him? Think about it. You guys are 100% sure he won't be a Chief next year. If that's true, we aren't going to get shit for him.
