The witness says the man then pulled out a gun and shot McKnight -- and while standing over him screamed, "I told you not to f**k with me" ... then fired another shot into his body.

McKnight was a high school phenom -- considered the best running back in the country. He played college ball at USC. He was drafted by the NY Jets in 2010.

Arrow's got beef on that one, man.

That guy was running away and not with any speed, mind you. He didn't present an imminent threat to the public.

By any accepted guidelines for officer involved shootings, that's just not a good shoot. What the **** happened? Did the Prosecutors office refuse to forward the possibility of manslaughter? Because you could have a manslaughter case here in a lot of jurisdictions if you think the officer was actually in fear of something and didn't want to hang murder on him (i.e. an 'unreasonable self defense' angle).

But there's no way he could just walk outright. There's no definition whereby that's a reasonable reaction by the officer. That's unreal.

He shot an unarmed man. He should be in jail forever, doesn't matter if he stood over him or shot at him from the opposite window. His intent was to murder him.

When I first read this in the early AM today, I kept thinking of a former RB Ted Mckinght (late 70's). And then I thought I thought it was Todd McNair.

Took me a minute to put it all together.

Certainly. Obviously I don't know any more than anyone who has read on this today and likely less. I wasn't able to finish watching the press conference for instance. I think I read somewhere though that the autopsy shows that at least two shots (three casing so I don't know where the third shot went) entered high on his chest and existed low in his back. That does not lead me to believe he was shot from above while lying on the ground. Of course there is still the third bullet.

I don't know. I find it interesting to see how much the story we are getting has changed so much in the first 24 hours. I am sadden by the news but have to let things take their course at this point.

So he shot him while he was bent over in his window, or he was shooting him while mcknight was seated and standing over him.
