It's dumb. Sure. But he's a 20 something old guy who for the most part is a great player, father, and husband. He can afford to do stupid things once in a while. Hell I just blew a couple hundred dollars this 4th of July weekend. Most of it on stupid shit. That's about the same as Jamaal spending 20k on stupid shit.

20 something millionaire, yeah sure I get it, and like I say its not a moral judgement... just a common sense opinion... how many kids/families could that have helped through his non-profit?

Equating his 20k to my $200 earlier is true, but it doesn't make the profligate waste of money any less ridiculous... still love the guy and this is the only single thing he's ever done that made me go "WHAAA?".

But EVERYBODY wastes money. He just so happens to have more money to waste than the vast majority of people. He shouldn't have to live on a "fun budget" of a a person making 50k when he's making $10+ mil this year alone.

And he does a lot for charity and things like that. A couple weeks ago he had a kids camp at my old high school that got 100+ kids. I know he has a few events that he does in his hometown as well.

He's going to do great things with his money. He's going to do stupid things. As long as the great things outweigh the stupid, as long as he's not doing anything illegal, it's all cool to me. Have fun.
