Wasn't it Coleman that actually broke on the ball and took some pretty good angles? Couldn't catch but was there. I think it was coleman.
Coleman played damn well - I'm definitely confused as to why we didn't make a hard play for him.

But ultimately, Parker has much MUCH more upside. Even his most vocal detractors have to tip their cap to his athleticism. The guy has legitimately elite speed and in a press-man system, having a safety with legitimate closing speed is a hell of a nice asset.

the Seahawks last their elite center Max Unger for like 8 weeks after they lost to the Chiefs and did anyone even notice while they rattled off like 9 straight?

give me playmakers over centers all day every day

we can draft another center in the 3rd or 4th round and find the next Rodney "1 year wonder" Hudson

He started 15 games last season for ****s sake.

Didnt he have the most unassisted tackles too?

In a couple years we'll be saying "this guys only gettin 5m?"
that's just it

don't overpay for a safety in a shitty market

keep Coleman and use the money at another position were you can get real skill for the money

a JAG is a JAG is a JAG

draft a safety before you overpay for one

let's just hope the contract is structured really well

Not thrilled with the signing. But man, DORSEY is not resting. They are going after it.

Other needs than to sign a center? You do realize that Eric Kush is now the starting center of this team? Kush couldn't push Linkenbach or McGlynn for time despite being an adequate size for a guard last year.

The trade for Grubbs on its own was a good move. The extension is ill-guided. The Branch signing is a great risk-reward move, and I really like bringing in Maclin. Aside from that, Dorsey has stacked up some outright reckless and/or boneheaded signings.

Ron Parker plays well for a month and gets $30 ****ing million, but Hudson is told to kick rocks with no depth on our interior OL? Fanaika and Mauga are vet minimum players. There is no rationale for giving them $16 million in contracts.
I'm not sure why the Chiefs would sign 2 d-lineman. Knighton is a fatass who's looking to cash out, Ayers is average and Hudson Is a center. Usually I agree with your takes but this one is puzzling. Like others have said its all about structure IE: that Mays contract looked ridiculous last year. This team is in great cap shape next year.

Obviously, Sutton likes him...and if he keeps improving it will be a good deal. Have to see the details of the contract. S. Smith's going to break the bank if he plays like last season... KC might look at CB @ 18.

The Seahawks went from having by the far the best running average before contact with Unger to mediocre without him. That's a terrible, ignorant argument.

And we can draft another center in rounds 3 or 4, but we can't find a replacement for Ron "Cut eight times" Parker? Well, if Hudson is only a one year wonder, what the **** is Parker?

Parker plays a skill position. And you're going to have to back up these claims about Seattle suffering without Unger. I'm going to look that up right now. That seems like a load of ****ing bullshit to me.

A center is far less of a need than a One High Safety, which IMO, is a skilled position player.

I've said this before but Terez told me that the Chiefs have never viewed Kush as anything other than a center, nor has he ever lined up in practice as anything other than the center.

Being outraged over a center is silly, IMO.
