Just simply won't happen.

As far as other teams looking feeble against the Royals, I think the Royals cause a lot of that with their defense and fundamentally sound play. I watch other baseball games and I don't see a lot of those teams making the same, or as many, mistakes against other teams as they do against the Royals.

Some people may call it dumb luck, others say luck is what you make it or when preparation meets opportunity. I tend to lean towards the latter.

Forgot to add: worst starting pitcher among the 89 qualifiers (and one of only 2 neg value guys). Yeah he and Rios/Infante will be out for October but talking strictly now, does this really feel like a 100 win team?

I looked up the WS winner ~5yrs ago. They had this lineup (HR): Texeira 39, ARod 30, Swisher 29, Matsui 28, Cano 25, Damon 24, Posada 22, Jeter 18. We might get Hoz to 20. Rotation CC-Burnett-Pettitte with Mariano's 44 saves.

Again I'm happy we are winning so much but our team sure doesn't have that NY team's feel.

PB will continue to argue the team isn't that good...based on various stats that tell him so...every stat except how many games they've won.

Out of Guthrie, Rios and Infante at least 2 of 3 will be a distant memory soon. Even with the we have a 14 1/2 game lead with Ventura, Duffy and Holland not pitching as well as they can along with Gordon missing a bunch of time. I understand PBs hatred of those 3 players but I only see it as upside with Zobrist, Dyson, Gordon and Medlen filling those roles. Plus you have Ventura, Duffy and Holland trending the right way. There is no team as deep and versatile as the Royals. A lot of shit has to go right, but we couldn't be in a better position to succeed.

So, you had a watch party for a National Championship game and the whole group of dumb ****s there sat around for an hour after the game started just so you could watch the game on DVR and FF through the commercials? That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

I think I predicted 88 wins. Think it's going to be well North of that. I predicted the division to be way more bunched up than it has, boy was I wrong.

That is hilarious. I'm sure the autism society watch parties are bad ass, though.

I remember when the Royals used to be on regular TV. Now they are good you can;t see any games unless you are a slave to cable.
