Chiefs How excited are you for the game vs Denver this weekend? - Page 9

Everytime I think about this game, or a Donk fan at work brings it up, I'm finding it incredibly difficult to give a shit. I fully expect that we get our asses handed to us in a throwback game reminiscent of the Pioli era. I was even offered tickets to the game and politely turned them down because walking out of that stadium after a thorough asskicking has been something I've lived through three times before, and I'm not a glutton for punishment (says the Chiefs fan)

Anydoodles, are you excited or "meh"?

It will be exciting to see the work John Dorsey has done to fix the secondary that blew a 28 point lead in the playoffs last year. Sanders Commings and Phillip Gaines will make all the difference in shutting down Peyton Manning.

You know that feeling when you have a long, relaxing vacation? It was chocked full of fun, and somehow you had plenty of money to enjoy it. You managed to stick back enough money where, while money certainly ‘was an object’, you weren’t sweating things.
You went out after dinner each night and probably partied a little harder than you should have for much later than you’re used to, yet somehow didn't have a hangover the next day when you went about your vacation.

Leading up to the vacation, you somehow managed some self-discipline to exercise and even developed a small hint of a 6-pack of abs. You had a decent tan going on, so you didn't get sunburned, you only got darker. You donned some new clothes for the trip, and while sort of outside of your comfort zone, they actually did look sort of good on you.
The food you ate was fantastic. Rustic, and authentic, your orders were correct and your service was perfect. While on an small excursion, you encounter a local village where you’re somehow convinced by a local tribal elder or priest, to renew your wedding vows. Local families bless you and your wife, and everyone celebrated.

All of your pictures from your vacation turned out flawless. You captured everything you wanted, and didn't miss a single shot. In fact, most of the time it almost felts as if you ‘knew’ what was about to happen and were able to get the perfect shot when everyone else was scrambling to remove their lens covers.

You return home on a Saturday, and grab some much needed rest and recuperation. Your plan is to return to work on Monday

How excited am I for Sunday’s game? …..as excited I would be about 8:30pm on Sunday night before returning to work after my vacation.

Best case scenario would be 6-10 with a 4-2 divisional record and several young players looking like all-pros (Kelce, Fulton, Gaines, LDT, D'AT.)

That's not happening.

KC should absolutely tank the rest of the season for draft position. If the offensive line stabilizes they should activate Murray and see what the kid has. Either he sucks or looks like a competent backup.
