he hasn't been released. It's just speculation on his cap #
I would say probably based on the interest in Bryant. Will Lewis is the new director of pro personnel. He spent a few years in GB with dorsey before they went to Seattle with Holmegren. Dorsey left after a year and back to GB. He was hired either right before or right after last years draft by dorsey to come to KC. He obviously had a good grasp on McGrath, Parker, Rishaw Johnson and Chad Hall, Jenkins and Kyle Williams from SF beings they are in the same division and I'm sure he knew those opponent rosters quite well. So he is the only one with a working past with Red Bryant.

I like the thought of giving Malcolm Jenkins a look at FS like Milkman and others have said. Also would like to see Abdulluh resigned. Otherwise Sanders and Ron Parker are decent in house candidates. Raw but with speed.

I'd also like Jenkins.

I would love to beef up the line, but we also need guys who can cover longer then a second.

all depends on who offers him the cash...like always.
Otherwise I think we are going to be looking at some of these big press cb's with speed to compete at FS. Like a Demarcus Van Dyke but tackling is going to be a concern with those guys that haven't been in that position.

They got stuck and chose Lewis as the qb of their D. He called all the coverage signals and lined everyone up. But he lost a step and played like shit even though he was the brains of the back end. Sutton deserves all the blame he gets. But there needs to be better options back there too

Without reading a single post I was SOLD at the OP, this would do 3 very important things...
1) it would send Jackson on his way. 2) it would move Poe to end, where his quickness might be better exploited. 3) it would import some of that Seattle hardhitter swagger, everyone here knows how bad we need some. A bonus fourth blessing? ya gotta like a guy who goes by "Red"... it just kinda says something about 'em, doesn't it? |

Give him 2/3 of his snaps at nose, but get him started down the path to understanding end responsibilities in 2013... a guy as talented as he is shouldn't end up too confused now that he's in year three. |

IS his house, and the QB will need to come into his house to escape the doobie brothers. But we have got to keep these guys fresh and make fn adjustments. |

And yes, its definitely hard to see Poe doing too much time at end... just when a guy is getting good somewhere ya move him? that doesn't usually sound like a successful plan. But, this guy IS a special kinda talent I'm convinced... maybe some occasional switcheroo wouldn't be too much for him to handle. |

Bryant sounds like a great sign if we can get him, I have to wonder why Seattle would let him go, doesn't seem like they have any cap issues?

The Bad Guy is a proven commodity here and has been for years. There's no reason to doubt him or question his motives.
