So are any of you guys into the old school stereo receivers?

Most of these bad boys from the list below, are from the late 70's and early 80's and they haven't made anything that sounds the same since.

The raw clean power just isn't in todays products. I'm going to hunt something down for the man cave out in the shop to abuse the neighbors a bit. If you have some old school stuff, what is it, Yamaha, Sansui, Murantz or something else?

LOL now this was a blast from the past. I still have two monsters out in the Man Cave. I use one and have one all covered up as a back up.

I have a B&O Beomaster and a Yamaha but none of them are receivers. Receivers are generally thought of as inferior to collectors. Tuners with seperate amps are what collectors or audiophiles prefer.

Receivers are very undesirable.

I have a pair of original Klipsch Cornerhorns in the mancave, they truly rock and can literally shake the house.

I basically gave away one of my Yamaha Amps that had a separate tuner. It didn't have any HDMI, but it did have a great phono preamp. Now I can't play my vinyl because none of my amps have a phono preamp. I'll have to go buy a black box to hook my turntable back up. That Yamaha was fine, and the friend I gave it to has been using it.

I had forgotten all about MCS (made for JCPenney). That was my first decent component set up. My friends snickered until they heard it and especially what I paid for it on sale and after my grandma's additional employee discount.

Grandmas always had an angle on the best stereos.
