You're telling me Andrew Luck couldn't successfully run read option plays within their offense? I am not suggesting he should be a read option QB, I'm saying Bruce Arians could have implemented the read option with his ATHLETIC QB that would have taken some pressure off of him to throw 50 times per game because they couldn't run the ball. |

It isn't Russell Wilson's fault he was better coached and had coaches that recognized all of the things he could do and utilized him to full capacity.

Luck was also running the entire playbook from day one. RGIII was running screen after screen with an occasional bomb to keep em honest. Luck was making the advanced throws you expect out of an NFL QB. RGIII was largely protected. That's fine. Most rookie QBs are protected in that way, but Luck took over the whole offense from the start. RGIII was more fun to watch, but even this year I would have rather had Luck as a Chief. His willingness to make mistakes and fight back from them is why I would have killed to have him in the future. |

Arians wanted to chuck it downfield every play even though the offensive line was horrible and nobody cared about playaction. You say you love good qb play but call Luck mediocre this year? That is reeruned. You point to his completion percentage and say he was mediocre. What you don't look at is the other qb's in Arians system. It does not do the qb's any favors historically. How many times did RG3 throw screen passes? You put him or Wilson in Arians scheme and their production falls a good amount. Also do you know how many drops the Colts had this year? I believe Avery and Hilton were 2 of the worst in the league. You can check that but you don't need to. It is accurate. Packers, Lions, and Dolphins. Go watch Luck in those games and tell me he didn't pass the eyeball test as much as Wilson. I am arguing for Luck. Not against Wilson. I really like that kid |

I wouldn't quite go as far as to say more intelligent.
The word I would use escapes me right now. Drank too much last night lol. Suave would probably do. He's not as cavemanish, that's for sure. I would agree he is far more articulate Posted via Mobile Device |
