Official 2015-2016 NBA Regular Season Thread

I don't believe this thread has been started yet, so here you go.

Good start to the season, key guys appear to be relatively healthy. As a basketball fan, good to see the Thunder back at full strength, as a Grizzlies fan notsomuch.

The West is just so deep, hard to figure out who comes out on that side. If the Cavs stay healthy, hard to imagine they don't represent the East.

If we have a group interested in a fantasy basketball league, I'd be happy to set it up.

Why can't he play at that level again? It was just five months ago. He's also playing a better regular season right now than what he did in 2014-2015.

If anything, with Love and Kyrie around drawing attention, it would free him up and allow him to become more efficient and effective on offense while giving him the ability to expend more energy on defense.

Because there have been like 2 finals like that in history and he's a year older.

If there is someone who could do it, it would be him, but with the back issues, I'm worried he's gonna start slowing

Kyrie also played at 50% the whole playoffs. And only played game 1 of the finals. Shumperts had a groin injury the entire final series. They now have MO Williams and Jefferson as depth. May seem like a small deal, but they all take dellevadova off the court. Let's not forget that delly was playing over 30 minutes a game in the playoffs.

As I said, the Warriors are the best team in the league right now, and it's not particularly close. That could change. The Spurs will get better, the Cavs will likely get better and the Thunder could get better. I think the Warriors are at their peak right now, but who knows.

I don't see any other team capable of winning the title IMO. Not the Clippers, Rockets, Griz or Bulls.

As for the Cavs, they're obviously a contender. But Irving and Love aren't exactly what you'd consider iron men, so who knows if they can get healthy/stay healthy.

Saw an interesting article on how the Warriors could afford Durant next season without breaking up the team. That would be insane.

Durant won't go to a team that has recently won a Championship like that. He wants to be a part of building it. That's why he'll probably stay in OKC or go to somewhere like the Lakers and reunite with Russ the year after. Those are pretty much the only 2 scenarios that I see. I'm pretty sure he'll stay in OKC unless some kind of personality conflict comes up with Donovan. I've seen no signs to this point to tell me he's thinking about leaving though that can obviously change.

He'll go to his favorite team growing up, the Toronto Raptors.

I haven't really been watching the Spurs. What's going on with him on that team?

Eric Banes of the Pistons might be the bitchiest bitch of all bitches. Guy protests every goddamn call that goes against his team and does it with this stupid gay smile on his face, like he's laughing off the call.

On the other hand, Andre Drummond is really really good. I knew he was becoming one of the NBA's top players, but I think he's closer to that tier than a lot of people realize.
