WR Kyle Williams claimed by Chiefs
WR Kyle Williams was released by the 49ers, anyone think he could fit into this offense? Seems like he would be more of a deep threat than anyone currently on the roster.

i read 49ers fans saying that Kyle Williams has turned completely gun shy this season and fair catches everything, and Harbaugh got fed up with it and put Lemichael James back there instead.

that's the knock on him now, he's afraid to return a kick when he hears foot steps, there is no way he is better at returning anything than Demps or McCluster and they better not think about replacing either of them with Williams, even though I think they might be trying to give more snaps to McCluster as a WR

The fact that they cut Hall tells me they're planning on putting him on the field at WR. They're not going to hand him a return job, especially when we don't have a deficiency there...

Kyle really is a lesser proven Avery clone. He has improved on returns as far as securing the ball, and has an impressive burst when he does choose to not fair catch. Still glad that he won't be needed to return kicks. Good initial separation and can snatch the ball well away from his frame. KC is better for replacing Hall with him.
