An interesting thing to see was the interception return against the Ravens. He takes that ball right into traffic and into the valley of the giants where there are a bunch of guys that outweight him by 100 lbs. Rather than trying to juke and skip around to avoid contact, he sees things close up, puts his shoulder down and charges forward. That tells me the kid isn't afraid of contact and is not going to have a problem at all getting his nose dirty.

Love seeing that edge and that confidence.

Nice pickup at essentially no cost. Good move, Dorsey.
Nice scouting report, but next time lay off the metaphors, dude. You're not a very good poet.

Let's review the trades made this offseason.

SF trades for our 1st and takes a G. We get Chris Jones and Parker Ehinger, who looks like he could be a decent G as a rookie.
Chiefs trade back with TB who took a kicker who is now seeking help bc he's sucked and has no confidence.
Also with everything going on, Kaepernick has been a dumpster fire ever since we got Alex.

Goddamn Dorsey is a good GM.
I agree with you. However I would point out that whatever the team that traded with us did doesn't really mean that much. Listing all the guys that went between our original pick and our next and who comes out of that will show more about how good the trade was. We didn't just pass on the guy that team picked, but everybody after.

Proof positive that our secondary is a dumpster fire at the moment. The brass must be very unhappy.

Shit, this guy might be the starter.

Don't rain on the rape parade. Dorsey finger bangs another loser and licks his finger because it tastes so good.

You made a trade today. Was it the same with CB Kenneth Acker that, give him an opportunity now because of the competition there at the cornerback position and how things were stacking out?

“Yeah that’s exactly it. And our goal is for everybody to make our team, but there’s honestly 37 guys that are in that 90 aren’t because we’re only going to be able to keep 53. So, our second goal for them is if they’re not going to make our team, we want you to make another team in this league and if we can assist you in any way, we will. There was some interest in Ack. We feel like we’ve got some depth at the cornerback position and felt like it was a positive for him. It gives him an opportunity to go to Kansas City and play for [Kansas City Chiefs head coach] coach [Andy] Reid and [Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator] coach [Bob] Sutton and we get a draft pick in exchange for it. So, happy for him. Ack was great here. Loved coaching him. But, I look at it as a positive for him.”
