Also Indy recently opened a new airport terminal at the cost of $1.1 billion, and their airport has significantly more non-stop flights than KC. |

So does the English Premiere League trump the NFL because they have a somewhat small following in the US or in other parts of the world?

That was the only condition for the Hunts to reach. There are many other expenses to the city that likely will never be achieved.

Also, why this concern with getting a Super Bowl played in KC. From what I have read a Super Bowl is a financial drain on a city and not a boon.

The cost-benefit analysis for host cities has been the subject of economic studies — and even those glowing projections are debated — which estimate the game has an impact of $200 million to $500 million on the local, regional and state economies in which the game is played. Super Bowl host committees, the non-profits organizations that represent host cities and their surrounding regions, commissioned these studies that, in turn, drove up the cost to host the game. |

I don't give a hoot about KC hosting a Super Bowl. I want them to play in one again.

It's the BBQ that will draw everyone in because you know the left and east coast folks can't resist KC BBQ !!
There is very little draw if any to host a SB in KC regardless of roof or not. |

Gameday revenue is a drop in the bucket compared to a larger revenue split + whatever bonuses NFL is piling on. They dont do shit for free. |
