Bummer they didn't add Darkstar to this season. It'd give a reason to look forward to Dorne.

Sir Barristan Selmy is awesome, I wish they'd have given him a better death on the show. I hope lives longer in the books, or at least goes out in battle taking a lot of yunkish punks with him. I kind of hope the twist GRRM spoke of for a character that has died on the show is about him.

Hound versus zombie Gregor in Cersei's trial by battle...it should be epic!
Hopefully if the Hound is winning, he'll refrain from strutting and monologuing within arms reach like the Red Viper did. |

I know Cleganebowl is what everyone is expecting but it just doesn't logistically make that much sense with him hidden away on the quiet isle and the faith militant having so many other fighters already in kings landing. It would be epic if it happens though.

Complain about how long it takes him all you want, but don't think for a second this series would be anything at all without the foundation of the books... Frankly I'm actually more worried that HBO can't do it without him, and rather than spoiling anything from book 6, this season's just going to be an incoherent trip completely off the rails. While jumping a shark. Hopefully not. |

It's most definitely a possibility But I have some degree of faith in the HBO writers. The series I've watched haven't gone off the rails. And they had to have had somewhat of a plot mapped out early on because they knew they were going to outrun the books. Additionally the comments I've read on here about book 5 seem to indicate that Martin has kind of gone off the rails. I understand it can be a literary technique to engage the reader in a slog it out sort of manner but maybe the dude has lost it. It's a huge story and a lot can happen. |
