Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started. Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. A great breakfast is a few eggs, couple strips of bacon and piece of fruit. High protein, low carb.

I'm down to 269 and I feel great. Almost lost 30 lbs, I don't feel weak either so. My cardio is the best it's ever been. Can't wait for my 2 mile jog tonight after work. The old folks on the trail is what motivates me more. 70 year olds out there jogging and putting in work

Day 1 of cut-diet and lifting:
Started day at 192. Ended day at 188. Should weigh-in at 190 in the morning.

Weigh only once a week in the mornings to see real changes. Mine's always Wednesday when I am cutting. Weighing daily is just water weight fluctuating from day to day.
