Tony Romo rumor

Gotta ask what do you guys think? There are strong rumors we are interested. I would love it if we got AJ MCCaron from Bengals.

What do you guys think

Certainly is, I seriously doubt that Romo would be willing to come to KC, even if Dorsey were to inquire about his contract demands.

I actually do think there is a chance. Reid isn't getting any younger, and knows KC is probably his last chance to win a Super Bowl. I think he knows he can't rely on Smith to win it either. Look at last drive against NE in the playoffs 2 years ago, and the last drive this year against Pitt. He basically threw all his eggs in 1 basket two years in a row. Long drive, no urgency, need special teams or defense to make the play to win it. Didn't happen either time.

Romo doesn't fit our offense
Romo isn't the type of QB that Reid wants
Getting Romo isn't the kind of big splash type move that Dorsey makes

sorry folks

Kirk Cousin is more likely

Eh, Romo is far better than Alex. It's not really close.

No we don't know that ending. He's never had a defense with this much talent. He's got a young up and coming offense centered around a solid OL, Kelce, Maclin, Hill and Ware.

He had a top 5 defense a few years ago and they lost 34-3 to the Vikings largely because of him. He had 3 turnovers that day and only 1 drive of more than 40 yards. That's an awful game and far worse than any playoff game we've had with Alex.

And since when has the Dallas offense not had as much talent as this chiefs team? They've always had a hall of fame TE, a good RB, and went from a hall of fame WR in TO to Miles Austin and then to Dez Bryant. The chiefs wouldn't be the most talented offense Romo has played on.

I never said he had a lack of weapons. You misunderstood that point. But point taken above. I'm just over Alex and this pony show. He's been here 4 years too long. Move on.

I'm the same way. But replacing him with a 37 year with a major injury history who has won the same number of playoff games and has worse playoff numbers is not the kind of "upgrade" I imagined.

The guy got injured behind the best offensive line in a long time....In preseason. He couldn't even make it to game 1 yet he's the guy we think is going to take us to the playoffs and then win multiple games once when we're there?

Well you can't normally upgrade at QB through FA. It's usually draft and develop. I just can't stomach this pussy any more at QB. I don't know if he'll get hurt again. He also had the entire season to heal and will have this entire off-season to further heal. I'd take the chance
