Alex Smith is a damn good QB

Just look at some of the numbers around the league today. We're lucky to have him as our QB.

Alex can still do what Kaep can't. Beat the Seahawks!

Kaep is 1-3 against the seahawks

We punted once and fumbled away drives 2x, the refs screwed us twice at minimum.

With what limited opportunity he had, Smith killed it.

When you make opinions based off of pure stats, it makes you look like an idiot and a tool. Alex didn't have a statisically good game last week against the Bills. You know what he did do though? He kept us in the game through grit and determination. With the type of fire he was under, most QB's would have been dispensing turnovers like your sister does with blowjobs behind the chapel during church service. We most likely lose that Buffalo game with any other QB. It's a definite loss with Kaepernick. He has continually nailed it with third down conversions all year. His smart play is a major part of the reason this team is a win at Denver away from leading the division. All this with a rag tag offensive line thrown together right before the season started.

You are a troll. Get lost. I feel like a ****ing dick for ever categorizing the other 49er trolls with you. They at least have a reason to be here. You wanted Alex off of the 49ers, right? Well he's been in KC for a year and a half now, but you're still having trouble letting go. It's just sad, man. Just go away. You add nothing to this board. Absolutely nothing.

yes exactly... the refs were REALLY giving a push to Seattle's win chances.

Chiefs said, "nope... **** you!"

Actually, he was pretty solid.

He's never flustered, stands in the pocket well and throws and accurate ball.

Bowe dropped one that hit him in the hands, otherwise, pretty good game from Smith.

And remember, while people say that this is a team lead by Charles, remember that he was here when the team went 2-14 which was the worst season in the history of the franchise.

Smith has brought solid leadership to this team and they emmulate him in terms of their style of play. The team respects him and plays hard for him/with him. While the numbers don't validate the casual fans vision of what an "elite" QB is, he wins. That is, in my book, the definition of a good QB. Fantasy stats can suck it.

When I read "Andy and Alex", I couldn't help feeling that the right view is "Andy and Jamaal Charles and the Defense".

I didn't see the game here in California. How did Alex win the game rather than your Defense and Jamaal Charles?

All I have to go on are stat lines.

Jamaal Charles -- 159 yards rushing, 8 yards per carry, with a long of 47 yards, 2 TDs.

Alex Smith -- 108 yards passing, 0 TDs, 0 ints, 88 passer rating.

Jamaal stats, beastly. Alex stats, pedestrian or "game managing".

Meanwhile the Defense sacked Wilson twice, held him under 200 yards passing, and held the Seahawks to under 21 points which has only happened once this year when the Panthers held them to 13 points in week 8.

What am I missing about Alex that it is the Andy/Alex show, not the Andy/Jamaal/Defense show?
Since u annoyed me enough in this thread to make me respond ill explain why its Andy and alex, and not what you think.

Alex is the QB.. When we lose, it falls on him, When we win, it sounds to me like you want to say its anyone but him saying Jamall/Defense etc..

Point being Jamall Charles played great today, but hes widely considered the best RB in football in all aspects of the position so when he plays just a normal game no one gives a sht.. Jamall Charles doesn't decide if we win or lose games on a week to week basis, that's the QB position that decides that..

If Alex threw the ball into bad windows, made turnovers we lose this game even with jamalls great game so maybe you understand that point.. that being said, since you already said you didn't watch the game, jamall wasn't the only one having a good game, deanthony Thomas gashed the seahawks left and right. We were running all over them so we aren't going to stop doing what works which is running all over them and then completing the passes when we needed to. This week our running game did above average, as well as our O-line blocks were above average. In previous weeks they haven't been "above average" they've been average or worse.. Especially our O-Line they have been atrocious until this week.

Alex and Andy have showed up every week to play football except week 1. that is why they have been given the Andy and Alex thread and not the other crap your spewing.. They get it, they understand what it takes to win a football game of epic proportions and this game had them. This game has put us in a tie with Denver meaning if we beat Denver and maintain a even or better record we win the divison and possibly home field advantage throughout. Our O-line and our Running game hasn't been solid week in and week out. Alex has been, period.

So that all being said, One game as what your referring to is complete crap, since like you said, your not watching the games, and when you don't watch a game no one gives a sht about your opinion on the players you don't even watch anymore.

TLDR = We had jamall Charles when we finished 2-14, Alex and andy came to town, we finish 11-6 last year, and are now 7-3 tied for first place with the Broncos... That's why the thread is Andy and Alex and NOT Andy and blah blah kaepsucks 5int cant score points.

Pretty sure the one that was dropped by bowe was late and behind , allowing the db to get in there. Happens in every game ever played. Could have gone either way.

Hit him in the chest/hands. No excuse for a '#1 receiver' to drop that.
