K-State Advances to the Elite 8
Wildcats played a helluva game tonight. Dominated Kentucky from the very start. Even without their best player, Dean Wade. K-State played a really aggressive man defense the overwhelming majority of the game. It completely flustered the young Kentucky team. Incredible game to watch. More tourney brackets ****ed all to hell. LOL...

This team had 6(?) losses of greater than 20 points. If they fall behind by 8? 0 wins. The bigs Bruce has recruited are NAIA level. (Probably not that bad, but they're pretty terrible).

Realistically, they got one huge upset, one 16 seed that gave them everything they wanted, and beat Creighton.

Dean Wade has the talent to be the Big 12 POY. He has the size to be a force in the interior and the speed/grace to hit shots from the perimeter. He should have been the featured player this year but Weber seemed to forget any offensive gameplan besides "heroball."

If he returns for his senior season, he will be a force to be reckoned with that not even Weber's incompetence can hide. Add in the fact that all of KSU's lineup could return, the talent is truly there to make a run.

Jury's out on whether Weber can capitalize on it, though.

Dean Wade can't defend, though. Still disappointed he didn't tell the trainers to eat a dick and insert himself in the game two days ago when K-State ran out of guys above 6'3'' due to foul trouble.
