I concur.

I like McCown and Bridgewater but they could still start in some places and will garner too much money. And for the love of all that is holy keep Fitzpatrick outside of a 400 mile radius of Arrowhead...

I get your point BUT what did Foles sign for in Philly ? I really don't know but Pederson was wise to bring him in because he could hit the ground running with ability to perform well. Granted it was rocky in the beginning but now with his chemistry finally in sync and the rust knocked off, we saw the Foles of old against the best D in the NFL. Now with that being said, sure Daniels would know the offense coming in but he ain't no Foles either. Just saying that when your team is that close to going to the SB it would be wise to have a quality b/u QB that could still keep the train running and still win. I don't think Daniels beats the Falcons or Vikings not even close.

Hell no to Fitzpatrick. Have you guys not heard of his curse? Every team he’s went to, the starting QB has gotten hurt that season! We have enough curses here!!
Hell no to Kapperdicks. And I don’t even care if he kneels. We don’t need any distraction for Mahomes.
Unless the Saints draft a qb, I don’t know why they would let Chase go.
I don’t see any of the Minnesota 3 wanting to be a backup or coming cheap.

So looks like it could be Gabbert. Same as it ever was. Another 49er retread. As long as he’s cheap and we never have to see him play except for week 17

Sam Bradford may not have a choice but to be a back-up next year.

And if that is the case, then he would be an ideal veteran back-up QB in KC.

I'm yelling put in Stanzi when the starting QB throws a pick until the day I die.

I dunno, I think Sam might be the top tier free agent QB after Cousins. He might get to start a year somewhere while a drafted Rookie sits a year.
If nothing else I think he's too expensive to be our backup.

Cousins for 4 million a year would be a decent back up....Some desperate AFC WEST team will back up the brinks truck for him though...30million

I think any idea that Bridgewater or Bradford will be backups is a pipe dream.

Jesse Ertz, QB from Kansas State and my ex step-cousin met with the Chiefs for 3 hours and apparently things went well...this is according to my dad and a couple guys I work with.

He had terrible injury issues at Kansas State. He’s one of the most likable dudes ever...and a fantastic athlete...it’d be crazy in my small town if the Chiefs signed him as a UDFA or drafted him with a 7th...we’ve never had anything close to a pro athlete.
