To whichever mod shut down the moderation discussion...
You've proved my point. There was no reason to close that thread as it remained respectful throughout and there was some good conversation happening. You shut it down hoping it'd fall out of the Lounge. Ignoring a problem will not make it go away. And you've hardened my resolve to see positive change.

Whoever did it, I call for you to step down as a mod. You've overstepped your purpose, and it's time you lost the privilege. I call on the other mods to hold this person accountable for making a mockery of your position.

I would call on my fellow CP members who agree that moderation here is full of holes and double standards to stand up and say this is not OK.

There used to be a place in Blue Springs called Soft Serve Depot. Little place behind McDonald's on 40 hey and 7. They had a thing called Heavenly Hash that was ****ing amazing. Every time I went to that place it was packed. Way packed.

FMB seems to usually be quite rational. What the hell has happened to him? It seriously can't be over a slap on the wrist to Inmem, who probably deserves more than he got this last time.

IMO, a lot more CP participants should be getting a lot more jackboots up their asses than what happens.

I don't really see the point. I never cared about why people were banned before I became a mod, as it wasn't my business. How do you envision this working? If you put things to a vote, there will always be people who disagree, and making things more public will just spark that much more debate over every decision... not that we hide anything anyway, people post threads asking why people were banned or whatever, and we give answers.

This has nothing at all to do with Inmem anymore. This has to do with a mod or mods overstepping. There was NO reason to stop the other thread other than a mod not wanting to be criticized.
