#chiefs official tells me they have not told either player who would be number 1 pick. Guys plugged into Andy Reid.

Welp.
This is a ballsy, ballsy pick. Fisher is a hell of a prospect, and he's a plug-and-play stud tackle, but he's played maybe two games that matter during his college career. Joeckel is/was a sure thing. He is. He will anchor your left side AT LEAST adequately, if not far more than that, for ten years. Fisher has all the ability to do that, but he is not a slam dunk. That said, I agree with this pick. Fisher is the better prospect, and the guy I'd take if I didn't have any skin in the game, which I don't. But Reid and Dorsey do, and using the 1st on this guy is... well. It's a hell of a thing. |

I damn sure hope not. I highly doubt the best OL in the SEC isn't as good as some OL for a mid major school.

Eric Fisher vs JJ Watt is going to be one hell of an interesting matchup. One of the best of the year.

You are really a dumbass. JJ Watt dominates good NFL vets, but now rookie Eric Fisher is going to match up well with him?

Fisher can handle power. He can handle speed. Fisher plays faster and stronger and with more resilience than Joeckel. He's better in the second level and unlike Joeckel, will wear down his opponents.
Joeckel has him on the kickslide, mirror ability, and recovery ability. |
