Another top 10 team signing a veteran QB. Wonder what that could mean?

I don't mind going for Geno either.

But my issue is taking him 1st overall (until today I was okay with that), however, seeing how teams are running away from him like the plague gives me concerns.

Chase or Geno/Matt Barkley would only be 3rd string for an Alex Smith average of 11.5 games(thats taking out his 7-rookie and 0-IR seasons).

What he did early in the season doesn't matter in this argument. Geno could get moved up the depth chart early in the season if he impresses in preseason/practice.

If they cant get Albert locked up long term. You gotta cover your ass in 2014. Nothing wrong with paying 16m 1 year for 2 tackles.
