Like I said in the other thread...coaches do not make draft picks. We have a new GM. That's his job. And there is 0 chance we take Floyd.

i jokingly said in the other thread, that gm's should prolly draft players the coaches want.

And what i will say to you, is it is a process, its a joint pick usually. A GM isnt going to say eff you coach, im drafting this guy.

Do you think that Jim Harbaugh, has zero say in who the 49ers draft? Do you think that Tom Coughlin has zero say? Sean Payton?

I think there is 0 chance we take Floyd. We have shown little to no interest in the kid. It will either be a QB, or a pass rusher. I think you need to have a conversation with R8ers if you want to discuss Floyd.

I dont know much about Floyd to be honest. Just seen him linked to you guys in a couple mock drafts. And you could be right, although losing knighton to the

, it prolly wouldnt be a bad idea to place a stud beside alualu.

So basically you think its going to be Jordan or Geno?

I have seen like 11 different players mocked to us. It's because no one likes to research our team so they give us whoever they think needs to be in the top 10, but isn't sure where to place.

The #1 overall pick is toxic this year. Nobody's touching it. That goes for #2 as well.

Joeckel is a Chief. Dion Jordan is a Jaguar.

Geno is a Raider.

Sometimes you just have to count your blessings. The Chiefs are so talent rich at qb and have such an incredible history of getting elite play from other teams castoffs that we can afford to trade away the number one pick so someone else can draft their QBOTF.

Not many teams can afford to make that kind of luxury type move..
