The Chiefs had other needs than to sign a center to a $9 million dollar per year contract. That said, it doesn't mean that Hudson won't see his full value.

If the Chiefs had signed Hudson, it would be very likely that neither Parker or Maclin would have signed with the Chiefs, regardless of whether or not Hudson sees his full contract in 2019.

What I said wasn't that the entire offseason had been shit but that preferring the restructure of Grubbs, signing Mauga, Parker, and Fanaika, over targeting players like Fairley, Ayers, and retaining Hudson would be a ****ing idiot.

Yep. Parker was very, very good at safety last year and without his play, the Chiefs may have been 7-9 instead of 9-7.

What "real" starters are out there. Safety market pretty low this year. Not a good draft for safties.

This guy knows the system and perfomed well. It is ludicrous that people think 5m a year for a starting safety is too much.

He started 15 games last season for ****s sake.

Didnt he have the most unassisted tackles too?

In a couple years we'll be saying "this guys only gettin 5m?"
