It builds to some gruesome stuff. But the very end is more twisted, then melancholy, than gruesome [not to be so specific as to spoil it, see below]. Overall, no worse than Reservoir Dogs.

after a prolonged graphic shootout, that takes out most of the cast, the survivors sentence and execute the chick by hanging her from the rafters. The camera lingers on her face as she chokes out. Being gutshot and nutshot in the prior events. The survivors deliver a soliloquy and the show fades with their presumed eventual death, isolated from civilization and mortally wounded

How the **** do you walk out of a first run of Pulp Fiction?

That was one of the half dozen best theater experiences in my life.

Saw it opening night and people were rolling with every plot development, gasping, laughing, shrieking, moaning, the works.

Still remember someone yelling HOLY SHIT!! when Vincent drove his cherry Malibu into Lance's house.

Agreed. I remember the theater erupting with laughter after Walkens "watch" story.

Its for the 70mm Roadshow Version, if you did not get one hope you can stop by and they have some left. That is part of the higher price, and they are very nice programs too.

Yeah, that was a little more purposeful, as it was part of showing the character downplaying his knowledge and fluency in his role as an investigator, except to the person who understood his speech who then realized he was dealing with a smart cookie.

Kind of an analog to Columbo's 'just one more thing' style

Saw it. Was OK, but that has more to do with the high bar I have for QT movies. Didn't feel ripped off but if was no where near Pulp Fiction or Inglorious Bastards. Not even close.

Urg at that, I have heard other reports of that. Either negligent staff or they ran out, but they should have compensated in some way. That is part of the package and its bullshit you did not get one.
