I don't see any reason to put Parker back at nickel. We have enough talent in that CB group to keep him at safety where he belongs. There will be some bumps in the road because of the inexperience, but I'm fine with that.

If Fulton and LDT put in a good season at guard, 2014's 6th round by Dorsey will have been the best return on investment in Chiefs history in that round.

Who the hell knew Dorsey was drafting two starters in the ****ing 6th?

Seriously, I always liked that Pioli drafted Stephenson and Allen in the 2nd and 3rd of the 2012 draft. Gave the Chiefs all kinds of depth options at OL for years.

Well, Dorsey did the exact same thing in 2014. Only he used two 6th rounders.

Hell of a job by Dorsey.

You liked that he drafted two busts with high picks?

Thank god those bums are gone.

Jeff Allen wasn't a bust you ****ing troll.

Injury prone? Yes, but certainly not a bust. There's a reason he got paid despite that.

Both players would have been fine value if they had been drafted a round or two after they were picked. As it was, I'd say neither was worth where they were selected.

Two potential decent starters with 6th rounders is excellent, however.

I think Fulton is gone after his contract is up, and I don't blame him. He can start for someone. He'd be a solid starting C, but we don't need him with Morse moving forward.

Interesting to see us triple dip at CB like the Packers did last year with Randall, Rollins and Gunter (that worked out well for them).
The Packers double-dipped at OT this year with Spriggs and Murphy due to OL contracts ending after this year.
With Fulton and LDT benign FA's in the same year and Reid getting a higher pay price for average play, I think it's very likely that Dorsey follows suit and double-dips at OL like his mentor Ted Thompson just did.

He was supposed to be a LT and now he's a journeyman guard who can't stay healthy.

Complete waste of a pick, and the definition of bust. So glad he's gone.

Agreed on this point. Outstanding value and it looks like at least one of them will pan out. Far better than wasting a 1st on another fat guy.

Lol wut?

Allen was drafted to play G, not LT. And leaving to be paid like a top G makes him a "journeyman"?

The bust is gone and replaced by a guy who most teams thought wouldn't even make it in the NFL. Give it up. He's basically the Dexter McCluster of offensive linemen at this point.

Jeff Allen had a hell of a year last year, he just struggled to stay on the field.

Let's be realistic here. He was our best guard and only the addition of Schwartz helps to negate the loss until someone else proves to be a competent guard.
