You can't go wrong with a Panasonic Vierra for Plasma. Highly rated and very affordable. I love the one I have.

I have a Sharp Aquos 52" and my folks have one too. Fantastic sets have lasted 3 years so far.

I have over 90k in credit limit....and I don't carry a balance. But if I ever needed to, it's there. And I get great rewards for using my card. In fact, I just signed up a month ago for a AA card, got 75k points for buying $1500 in coins from the US Mint, which I then deposited in the bank to pay off the card. That's good for 2 trips anywhere in the US or Mexico. Then, last night I signed up for a Venture card from Cap One, who will match those 75k points, add 10k of their own which will give me $850 in credit towards my next travel purchase. All for buying $1k in coins from the US Mint. LOL....amateur. |

R8ers is a "cash only" kind of guy, to a fault (in my opinion). Dane isn't known for his sympathy for people who he thinks make unintelligent decisions. It's a carry-over from previous threads...this one mainly:

My advice for next time, don't make a major consumer purchase on a shitty 3rd tier brand. Panasonic, Samsung, or Sony are the way to go.
Trying to buy the biggest TV you can for the money is like dramatically upping your commute time by buying a humongous house in the burbs. |

Good advice, but do your research. I'm not sure about currently, but Sony used to use Samsung panels in their TV's. I'm a Sony fan, but sometimes you pay more for their name.

Instead of 90k in credit I have 6 digits in CASH,a 401 k with alot more than that and a paid off house.., what the hell do I NEED A CREDIT CARD FOR? To look like I have money ? use cash, you know the shit you are using your credit to get? I bet 50% of the people on this forum like in real life say they are paying that shit off every month are lying thru their teeth.. I don't "need" anybodys "points" I have never been on a commercial airliner (smaller plane yes) but never on a commercial airliner and since I am almost 45 now, odds are I am not going to any time soon... Dumbasses and credit is what is wrong with this country now, maybe you manage it like a champ, you are in the minority if you do because there are so many people that are 1 paycheck away from bankruptcy and still using a freaking credit card.... Go buy that 40k SUV on that 35k a year salary, buy that 350k house too while you are at it... It's your life and it's your money, spend yours like you like, I will spend mine like I like... I prefer to MAKE the money to spend, not Borrow the money to spend.... Just remember though Run up all that debt then when you die, it comes out of the estate you were suppose to leave to the wife and kids.... All you bulletin board credit tycoons here pull those credit card statements out and mark out the identity shit and show me you carry a 0 balance..... I don't believe it... Prove me wrong |

Oh, I wouldn't buy a Sony either. They've replaced Pioneer as the overpriced brand, except without the tech superiority.

This doesn't include my newest account with a 30k limit I set up last night. It also doesn't include an old BOA account I forgot the login info for. |
