I think so too. But, their front court size and lack of depth would probably do them in.

Van Vleet and Baker are the real deal though. They're fun to watch.

As a KU fan, watching WSU the last two years has made me crave a showdown between the schools.

Shox played a great game against UNI. I think both teams deserve a 4 seed. Wichita State was more aggressive in their press, more aggressive on ball screens and their fans just plain old kick ass.
It will be fun to see which team takes the rubber match.

They are very similar teams in my opinion. great guard play . Ellis has been living up to his expectations, too bad he didn't stay home.

Wessel has improved tremendously this season and has become one of my favorites. He isn't Cleanthony Early yet, but he is really improving.

We used to have a coach at Wichita East named Wessel and I think Evan is related somehow.

My only concern about WSU is their lack of depth and bench scoring.

Yeah. Marshall did a great ass bit of coaching there guarding Tuttle. A little delay in the help side made him like like a below average player instead of a ****ing monster. If the kid had a brain in his skull he'd have popped a couple quick turnarounds before the help had a chance to get there, but maybe that's not his game.

What channel is the tournament on? Is it fox sports Midwest?

That's right. And they are incredibly consistent considering they score a lot from the guard position.

But there would be some games where the guards had an off night and the bigs couldn't pick up the slack. I'm kind of disappointed Marshall couldn't get much improvement out of the bigs, but maybe they're topped out. If that Carl Hall kid was still there they'd ****ing wreck shit. I mean embarrass ****ers.

Problem is our bigs other than Carter are Freshman. I do think carter and Shaq will be monsters by their Junior years. Although shaq might be next year since he was a red shirt last year
